Overall this was a really nice transformation from the dull and drab before. That being said, I also can’t wait until open shelving is no longer a trend. It just looks so much more cluttered and busy now.

Friendly reminder not to simply push your dryer against the wall. Even if it’s flush mounted to the duct you need to be able to visually inspect it now and then. If there’s a hole or break in the duct and lint begins piling up (happens faster than you might think) it can turn into a fire hazard, especially with high voltage electricity wired on top of it. Dryer lint is extremely flammable.

For the laundry shoot I would probably have removed that tiny shelf, put in a divider in that cabinet in the middle and add one or two shelves to the left side and added a laundry bag with some attachments so that it would catch everything and you could remove it once you are ready to do the laundry

Most of the design changes are lovely but putting a bunch of tschotkes on open shelves is so much visual clutter in a small space.

The need is decorate with plants in this room is totally unnecessary and useless even if they are fake. They will only get in the way.

i love the couple and the designer but honestly i think a purely utalitarian room for laundry is a lot more appealing. maximum room to get things done and minimal maintenance to keep it clean.

Wooowwww if she can do that in a laundry room, imagine what she could do in a kitchen or a hole house. Great job is really a great lesson on how good you can make a place look better in the afternoon
