Lifehack: create a news ticker with VSDC Free Video Editor

A lot of people are asking about changing the speed. I tried and tried, following the suggestions, and I couldn't slow my news ticker down. I then had a brainwave and it worked. I copy and pasted my ticker into a new project, changed the frame speed to really fast eg 120, and exported to a MOV. I then imported the MOV into my original video as a new layer, cropping it to size, and then because it was a video file I was able to change the speed from 100% to a more readable 7%. Result!!!

All of your videos would be much more helpful what dialog explaining what you are doing. In this video the ticker tape text moved by so quickly it couldn't be read. How do you control the speed?

I was using VSDC but then it froze, and now I can't close the app. It's been like this for a day. usually when this happens it'll just close on it's own in a hour or so, but it's never taken this long. I can't reinstall it when the app is still open, so what should I do?
