An electric blanket is kinda like a controlled short. It has a very substantial load that drains batteries fast. The Jackery 1000 should get you through the night. My real question is you have the best heaters in the world… the boys! Is it really a Three Dog Night where the 2 doesn’t cut it?

Looks like a 1000 needs to be added to the wish list, ...

sleep tight and don't let the bed bug's bite! Never knew what that meant, but sounds good? Are you keeping the dogs warm, or they are keeping you warm? Wich ever stay warm and safe thank you, hope to see you up and running very soon 5K next year!

I am a bit surprised that the Jackery Explorer only had one AC socket.

I run an electric blanket for just a half hour before bed. Then I turn it off when I get in.

Seems like the Jackery Explorer 500 really couldn't power the electric blanket for a long time.

AJ, you might consider getting a 12 volt (dc) heated blanket instead. It will make your Jackery last longer. The Jackery is having to convert (dc) to (ac) to run your (ac) blanket. take care

Yep.... Actually that's not bad. How long does it take to give that thing a full charge so you can use it again?

unplug your AC, that’s what’s killing your battery. Do you really need the Air Conditioner on for 6 hours?

If you had a 12 volt blanket( $40 amazon) it would last you 3-4 NIGHTS of sleeping

I have the Rockpals 300 and use it to charge all my USB stuff mainly. For electric warmth I use my electric motorcycle coat .. never tried it off the Rockpals as I usually just plug it into the car 12V outlet .. because the heat is so concentrated to your arms and torso it really keeps you toasty .. needed on the cold days on the cycle. I did just check and the prices have gone up quite a bit .. but, still a good way for electric heat. All my other heat is propane catalytic heaters. I'm adding on to this to thank you for making me look at my setup .. realized the jacket was setup for the Ford but not for the Crosstrek .. I'll be heading to DV on the 20th if all goes right. 🤠
