Hey nice video! BTW... have you noticed stuttering with CamLink 4K? I've been testing and realize my Canon to CamLink 4K to MacBook Pro.... is resulting in SOMETIMES stuttering video. I looked closely and actually it's the issue that (even at 30 FPS).... some of the frames are being repeated! :-0 So it appears as a stuttering effect. Again only sometimes -- it seems to happen more especially when I'm waving my hands violently or introducing a lot of bright light. I suspect this is because the higher amount of data in the video (usually with more whites, or changing the image dramatically) is overwhelming the CamLink 4K... so it just spits out some duplicate frames until it can catch up. I'm at my wits end on how to resolve this... any ideas? Maybe there is a better option than CamLink 4K? (I think most people streaming wouldn't notice this, and simply attribute it to the stream quality... but I tried recording the video directly to my MacBook and verified it's actually the video source coming from CamLink 4K... not related to online streaming at all.)

Have you done a video on connecting the Sony A73 with the CamLink to OBS? I'm working through Troubleshooting and can't get them to talk with each other, downloaded drivers, updated software, etc., etc., still just a black screen on OBS...

Anyone having issues with the cam link disconnecting after a minute? All the videos I’ve watched it was just plug and play. Not sure if there is a setting I need to adjust or if the the camlink is defective. I’m using it for Teams. I select the Camlink 4k in Teams camera settings and it works for approximately a minute and then disconnects and I get a no signal message.

Thanks for this… Random question perhaps but on my Mac I only have usb c ports. Will any old Amazon usb to usb c adaptor work to plug the camlink into? Or is there a recommended brand?

I've been using a Canon RP mirrorless and get great results with my Camlink into ecamm for recording locally. The issue I have is when I use it on zoom (using either the camlink or ecamm video input in zoom) the quality is pretty bad. I have 1080 enabled on my zoom account but it looks like 720 at best for both the live feed and the cloud recording. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Have you had trouble with Ventura? I wanted to buy it to see if it worked. I had another video capture device, much cheaper, and as soon as I updated my Mac, it stoped working :(

People are telling me that they are finding that Camlink 4K is not compatible with the M1 chip. I have a Macbook Pro Max M1 16" and want to use Sony ZV E 10 as my webcam for Ecamm Live.
