Very rare one of the only Kodak Morgan McClure cup cars from the early years that we can verify that survived from 86-87. This is the last of the true factory body style Nascar Winston cup steel bumper Delta 88 Oldsmobile 1986-1987 Kodak Rick Wilson cup car. This car is the real deal and not a copy and ready for the Vintage stock car, HSR, SCCA and several other racing series or just to add to your collection. This car was found stored for over 20 years away in as old race shop owned by Oliver instruments after they purchased it from Morgan McClure to race in Winston west. Car has been restored with a new Tex racing rear end slight camber and road race Tex transmission with internal pump, all new Earl hoses and all new original Modine water and oil coolers. The car's originality was maintained except for the upgrades Rick probably wished he would have had: 9-1 cup motor 12 deg with the Pontiac heads bow tie cup block New Barnes 4 stage pump and new style cup road race oil pan and runs great with only 25 or so shake down laps after rebuilt. Extra sway bars and springs and misc parts. A new Kirky 17 seat goes with the car as well as 2 sets of original like new chrome wheels that Nascar outlawed after 1987 with new sticker Goodyear tires. Car also comes with the original 1986 Winston cup rule book, promotion of car and Rick, and extra from headlight and grill chases that you see in some of the vintage pictures. Car is set up for road racing with the new bilstien shocks valved properly for road race. New front glass, lexan rear and sides. New Demon 650 car for road race. Original fuel cell with foam and filter. All new Winston cup decals from 1986. Rebuilt Original Hurst Airheart large 4 piston brakes. Original squirrel cage oil blowers with a new style from brake blowers. Car has documentation from Hutchinson Pagan as 1 of 12 built for the Kodak Team and verified with McClure and Oliver. Thanks for taking a look!

Sweet ride, back when they had real cars, no restrictor plates, no wimpy drivers who are afraid to have a little spec of oil on their hands and no Toyotas (I know they had some foreign cars when NASCAR started from day one ) the racing was great then after Dale Sr passed, racing wasn't the same anymore!!

That would be fun to find out. There actually is a drag strip not far from where it's currently parked.

I agree, things sure have changed since that time. I liked it a lot more when Dale Sr. was still around.

It looks like a short track car BC of the extra openings in the bumper to duct air to the front brakes. Also I noticed the passenger side quarter panel had a fuel opening for road courses...
