Thank heavens we still have brilliant engineers who think outside “The Box” and create such iconic cars. BRILLIANT. Still have a soft spot for the original Mini, my first company car at age 22yrs was a 1275 Cooper S. my boss gave me a budget and a found a superb Cooper S. I took the S off the boot lid and he thought I had bought an 850 mini.🤭

Looks surprisingly well planted on the road. Past conversions look to be quite a handful, with the driver wrestling the controls. This looked refined and capable. The speed in which the cars behind disappeared gave us a clue in the performance.

I purchased the mini Sir Richard Branson used to clinch the Guinness world record for the most dames cramed into a classic mini cooper back in 2013 - Braamfontein Johanesburg South Africa. Alas the same ladies can no longer repeat the feat.
