In regards to the altoids tin holding paint - as someone who really doesn't know much about watercolors (I'm mainly a digital artist and when I do traditional it's generally acrylic or a pan set of watercolor) I had no idea the watercolor from a tube once dried could be reactivated with water! It makes perfect sense that it would NOW, but I didn’t even think along those lines at the time haha. Thanks for letting me know this was even a thing for someone who has never used it before hahaha

4:05 you know that was meant for watercolor since they dry and you can reactivate activate them with water

You should have cheaped out on the pill case. That expensive one was for people with arthritis. It’s meant to open easily. The cheaper ones tend to be trickier to open.

the altoids hack is for water colors or gouache from tubes that is left to dry mainly, not acrylics. so in theory it does work, just with different paints.

They meant watercolor paint for the small palette

So you let it dry
And then you can reactivate it with water
And it doesn’t get everywhere

Ironically, you went for the more expensive pill box to get better quality (which you did get), but it was also one that was engineered to be easier to open since people using them may or may not be having problems with grip strength in their hands/fingers.

Edit: It might have worked better if a cheaper pill box was used, although then you might be contending with hinges that break too easily.

The altoid palette hack is meant for watercolors and not acrylics. So you can let your watercolors dry in them and take your paints with you.... <3

As funny as it sounds, the smell and feel of oranges actually do relieve stress. I dont know the science behind it, but I was in a residential treatment facility not too long ago and we kept oranges in the freezer at all times on our lodge. It was actually a perferred coping skill for a lot of people to squeeze, smell, and eat in a time of crisis. Just thought I'd share lol

Oh Chloe you should have cheaped out on the pill container! Those easy open tabs were the downfall!

Chloe: ok so here's the glue gun--which is NOT lost--and put it right here where it's nice and safe
Glue gun: *immediately disappears in the next shot*

Chloe idk how to tell you this but I think you must have angered a glue gun-stealing ghost
