The new TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue” gets its name from its dominant blue color but also from the year 1958, in which the first TUDOR divers’ watch waterproof to 200 meters (660 ft), reference 7924 or “Big Crown”, was presented. Among other aesthetic nods to this historic watch, this model offers a 39 mm diameter case in in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. Ideal for slim wrists, people who like more compact watches and vintage enthusiasts, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue” also carries on with the long TUDOR tradition of blue sports watches.

In brief the highlights of the Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue”:

Case: 39 mm case in 316L stainless steel
Dial: Navy Blue grained matt domed dial, grained with applied hour-markers, snowflake hands. A hallmark of TUDOR divers’ watches since 1969 with grade A, Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescent material

Manufacture Calibre MT5402 with 70-hour power-reserve, silicon hair-spring and COSC-certification

Waterproof to 200 m (660 ft)
Three straps/bracelet options: blue Jacquard fabric with silver band, blue “soft touch”, and “riveted” steel

Please do also read the description of the video to get more technical information. The Tudor Black Bay Fifty Eight "Navy Blue" is sold for 3200 CHF/3160 Euro with this fabric strap. Already today, only three days after it has been presented, it is offered for >4800 Euro on the grey/parallel market... 🤬 This is MORE than embarrassing and absolutely stupid. Check my comment in the video 19:13 PLEAE do NEVER buy the watch for an overprice! The watch is worth what Tudor charges it for and not a cent more. These opportunistic resellers of watches really suck! 🤬...

You did it again ! I have seen many reviews for this BB58 navy blue already but I knew I am gonna learn something new from WatchAdvisor channel and that's what I got ! Super detailed video, not limiting to the watch itself but people behind it, the logic behind it.. and heck.. you even paid attention to the antireflective treatment ! Kudos to you. Keep it up !

Been saving for a blue dial sport watch for some time and had almost set my mind on an Omega Aqua terra 38mm. But with this release I knew right away this was the watch for me. Went to all ADs right when they opened on release day and they all told me no and some didn't even want to put me on wait list. I emailed other ADs in the bordering country to me and one had the bracelet version and agreed to ship it to me and they even paid for the shipping. When I eventually decide to buy another timepiece I know I will try to support them rather than my local ADs.

Absolutely beautiful new model! I experienced it in person today and have to say it’s speaking to me even more than my black BB58. Dressier and more technical looking. I like!

The new tudor bb58 looks very nice. I like that it has a different style from the previous bb58, more modern approach.

Bravo! You are killing the competition with value added information in your reviews. First time learning about Kenissi and just how good is their movements to have a 5 year warranty and 10 year service interval! Speaking of Bell & Ross, please review their latest BR03-92 Diver with the fully lumed dial! Cheers!

I had to wait 3 months for delivery of my BB58 black version from my AD....but I didn't mind, it was something to look forward too. Tudor either doesn't have the capacity to manufacture more time pieces or doesn't want to for some reason. Hence, some people are taking advantage of this situation by selling on at ridiculously inflated prices and others are stupid enough to pay it. I've had my black dial version for 6 months now and absolutely love it....the blue looks very nice too.

Ive watched this twice now, a lot of information and wanted to take it all in. Great video as always Alexander, thanks
I went to the Tudor AD on Saturday and purchased the Pelagos LHD. I asked to view the Black Bay Blue and they didn't have one. They did say they could get me one though.
Would love to see a side by side comparison between the Pelagos blue and this watch.
Keep up the good work and well done on calling out the flippers!

Bought one a couple of weeks ago, walked into the store and tried it on, really liked it and bought it. Mine has the bracelet which I prefer. My collection is complete now, have thr longines spirit and tudor bb58 now, these 2 watches can cover pretty much every occasion.

I wish it had a date complication.

Nice review Alexander, it's always a pleasure to see your videos! The colour of the dial and the bezel is very very nice! The 58 have the perfect measure!! The only thing that i don't like is the absence of the anti-reflecting coating on the glass but remain a nice one!

I love my BB58 Blue! I swapped out the stainless bracelet for a woven one, and am awaiting a variety of colors in the mail. So far, it has been only about +1 second this week, I am wildly impressed with the quality, and I typically wear it every day at least part of the time (cycling in my field watch and another Seiko diver too)

For those who already own a couple of Tudors like me, I already have BB GMT and p01 not sure if I'll go and buy this one although the 39 mm is killer

I very recently bought the Black Bay 58 Navy Blue to compliment a range of predominantly black-dialled watches in my collection that include the classic Rolex Submariner Date 16610 that I've cherished for 19 yrs. The Tudor is a super, very well-made luxury timepiece and I appreciate its rather understated blue dial and aluminium bezel compared to the 'bling-blue' ceramic of my Omega Seamaster 300. Like-for-like think of the Blue 58 as a more modern take on its original black and gilt sibling. The blue really pops in daylight or in well-lit rooms and a pleasure to wear. Although not quite up there with the Rolex in the absolute quality stakes - but why should it when it's barely 35% of a Sub's retail price - go to an AD and try one on. An in-house COSC certified movement, 70 hrs power reserve.... you won't be disappointed.
