How often you exfoliate depends on your skin type and sensitivity. You also need to take into consideration the type of products you use regularly, i.e., retinols and tretinoins will cause superficial dry flaky skin as it increases the turnover of your epidermis (a good thing!) so you may actually need a bit more exfoliating in order to uncover the healthy skin beneath. But it also increases overall sensitivity, at least initially.

Glad to hear you like the product! As long as your mindful of protection from sun exposure, you should be able to use it indefinitely. You may want to transition to a tretinoin over time to better address wrinkles and epidermal turnover as you reach your 40's and 50's. Keep in mind however, that any strong retinol or tretinoin containing product must be discontinued when attempting a pregnancy, when pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Thank you for your question. Sincerely Dr Fanny

Your skin type however, may prevent you from using chemical exfoliants such as AHA's or even physical exfoliants such as microdermabrasion. Bottom line, It's best to consult a medical skin professional face to face so the two of you can arrive at the best solution for you. Good luck! Dr Fanny
