At the beginning everyone suggested to change the engine. But they said it is not needed and something like "we could change some shaders and people would probably be happy". (suggesting that ppl don't know what an engine does).
So, thats that. There you go. ^^

Love the series of updates, and press releases, and engine changes, you know all that alpha beta stuff. In 4 years i have acquired 15 more ''early access games'' just because of that. I don't really play any of them, i just like to watch the progress. Its like watching soap operas on TV only you can even comment and read other people reviews. That's exciting isn't it ?

I'm worried that H1Z1 is going to beat DayZ to the punch... despite DayZ throwing first. I'll play both likely, but I was a bit annoyed with all the crazy hacking at one stage.

the dayz engine is fine...thats why i like this game...all the complainers here just have no clue to set up their computers or the PCs they use are 10 years old....
