That's a gross thing that writers did with a mutant ability.

She has adaptive powers and the writers just turned her into a horrifying monster…..instead of making her actually cool…..thats stupid.

The problem seems to be that her nano machines respond to each separate threat simultaneously and treat each evolution as a separate response to each threat.
This caused her body to attempt to take multiple different forms simultaneously.
Someone needs to reprogram the nano bots to allow her to specifically trigger the abilities by focusing on all of the threats as a whole or one at a time. They should also add a fail safe where if multiple threats would make her lose control it warns her not to attempt the transformation.

The more i read these the more i appreciate movie scripts where writers cant just abuse their characters as much. At least in film they have to worry about the next movie.

Y'know you would think that meta woman's powers would have even accounted for those of the Doom Patrol as well. Doesn't really make much sense to be fair 🙄 🤔 I mean, c'mon dude, they just said that she has the power to rapidly change her genetic code through nanotechnology, having her get the correct superpowers to take down any imminent threat and super criminal terrorism. Which in reality when you think it should be the absolute coolest 😎 and super awesome powers imaginable.
