Bill Wyman's bass lines were always full of grooves and hooks. He consistently wrote the most interesting lines. Very unique style and sound.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards did not create the band. Brian Jones was the founder.

Bill wyman was always my favourite. Nice to find out recently that we share an enthusiasm for Rupert books. The band as a whole is the greatest, and their music has been part of my life. I'm 83 now, so that's a lot of enjoyment, or just plain joy Best wishes to all the boys, and thank you.

I have known Mick personally since 1969. Interestingly I never had the feeling he would treat me unfair, or he'd be full of himself or anything negative what those people who never met him say about him ...

Bill Wyman was a wonderful base player. I wish he knew how much everyone realizes that.

The only thing disturbing is how the narration just keeps on repeating and repeating the same thing over and over again.

Mick Jagger has always been the strong leader of the Rolling Stones. While there are differing opinions about his personality, it's undeniable that his intelligence and management skills are the reason the band achieved its legendary status. Everyone has their flaws, but he is the very reason the Rolling Stones became iconic.

Know your role and realize that anyone is replaceable. However, Bill and Charlie were the heartbeat of the Stones for over 3 decades. They drove the group like any strong rhythm section can and did. Bill left and they got another bass player, Darryl Jones. To Jones credit, he chose not to play exact bass lines like Bill did, but put his own spin on them. Likewise, Charlie was an incredible drummer who played with a different style that was hard to replicate. Both Charlie and Ringo in the Beatles had a unique and distinct style that fit their bands perfectly. Their techniques were hard to copy. Life goes on and most of this story is the story of most bands. Egos clashing and someone never satisfied. After playing in bands for half of my life, just when you think you've seen it all, something new happens... and most of the time it isn't good... :)

Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman are often seen as best mates.

Bill Wyman, an exceptional musician and artist, will never forgive Mick for becoming the greatest frontman in the business.

Oh come on… Jagger was a dynamic, charismatic, and a brilliant musician - that was an order of magnitude above Bill Wyman as a performance artist. Bill definitely was a strong contributor with his bass work and reliable nature. Jagger wrote many of the Stones most famous songs - including most of the lyrics in their catalog, and had a ‘star quality’ that thrilled legions of fans. He fronted the band and was the CFO of the Stones empire. He carried the band throughout the 70’s while Richard’s was deeply lost in heroin addiction. The “my drummer” comment was a minor bump in the road. Fame doesn’t rest on anyone’s shoulders well but Jagger carried himself with distinction. This is hyperbole. Jagger is well respected by his peers. The facts speak for themselves - the Stones have never broken up. Bill Wyman retired but Mick Jagger hasn’t.

A fan since the 60s, Mick and the Stones will always remain bigger than life in my view with immense body of work going deep and wide which has always remained my overall top vote among talented groups and individuals if I had to choose but a single selection. Their longevity adds another facet of the phenomena of what they have become and remain.

Groovy video. Mick Jagger is Mick Jagger. Take him or leave him. There is always the Beatles to fall back on if Mickies head gets to large. LOL!

In spite of this, Bill made billions.

The late standup comedian David Brenner described Mick as "a rooster on acid."

When Bill Wyman left The Rolling Stones, the band ended up as a disco band !

Ronnie Wood had some interesting things to say about Wyman. That he was often unpleasant and treated him like a lesser member of the band and sometimes criticizing his guitar playing.

It takes a hugely forceful character to carry on a rock and roll band for just a decade, let alone a lifetime. The Stones are the only 60s band to survive into the 21st century. This is a tock and roll band, that partied, famously flirting with dangerous drugs, etc. Making it sound like some sort of corporate entity that should have been structured like a union or with corporate protocols is a bit artificial. It never works to criticize in retrospect because it comes across as an effort at deconstruction. Long live the Rolling Stones! All of them!

I Always, from Day 1, seen Jagger as Addicted to himself.
Time has proved this.
