Kansas - Mysteries and Mayhem

Mysteries and Mayhem was written by Steve Walsh and Kerry Livgren for Kansas' third official album, Masque, in 1975. The song is based off a dream Kerry had about a demon-like creature hunting him down to sentence him, which also inspired Kerry to search for a way out of this, which he did once he became a born-again Christian in the summer of 1979.
