Owners Arrested For Felony Animal Cruelty After Ghostly Dog Rescued From Horrific Nightmare

Four days ago, Bella was confiscated by Animal Control, arriving to safety at an alarming 25 pounds with a body condition score of 1 out of 10. She was covered in feces, which was caked into her feet, nails, and ears.

Bella’s owners were arrested for felony animal cruelty. We can only hope the justice in this situation is swift, but we simply do not have all of the answers right now and are focused on ensuring Bella makes it through each day without keeling over. She is weak.

At a mere 4 years old, it’s clear Bella hasn’t been fed in months. Her once-fitting collar now hangs loosely around her neck. Without exaggeration, you can see every single bone in her body. How is she still standing?

This brave girl has endured unimaginable abuse and neglect. Now, it’s our turn to stand up for her and ensure she finally gets the care she deserves. We’ve just received clearance to organize her transfer, but with so many cases this year, our resources are stretched thin.
