While this card is not made for gaming, you can certainly run games on it easily. I don't mean games like bf3 on max settings or anything, but stuff like WoW and GTA4 you will be able to run. Still a great upgrade for me personally, since I only had an onboard graphics card, so this is actually a huge upgrade for me lol.

This thing does not need 400 watts. You could get by on a 200 watt psu, depending on your cpu. This thing probably barely pulls 40w under load from the slot. Paired up with a 65w cpu, you could probably go with less than a 200w psu.

None of those use enough power to make a difference. They only recommend 400 because of the wide variance in quality on power supplies. Especially OEM ones.

no you cannot buy a pc gpu for a laptop, most laptops cannot have an upgrade for the gpu
