Four separate Boston shootings leave 2 dead, 5 injured

Boston police said one person was killed and a second person injured in a daytime shooting Friday in a residential neighborhood in Mattapan. It was the latest shooting in a string of gun violence scattered across several neighborhoods in Boston over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
