Wow, 30 minutes of Levy talking about the Danish Gambit, I feel bad for watching this for free this is amazing.

Can't wait to try this out and lose 7 times in a row.

I still remember the first time I encountered this gambit, and let me tell you, I don't think I am going to forget how quickly it went from "oh, a pawn? That's odd" to "oh, he just pinned my rook. And knight. And captured the bishop. And got my queen.

Well, that's enough chess for today"

I've mained the danish gambit up to 1800 as a player so it's fun to see it being covered - i still learnt something in the declined variations that i didn't know! Anyway, i wanted to point out in game 1 i believe the theory is to take with the c-pawn. black can very easily blunder his bishop but whatever he plays it's pretty good for us

After all the danger levels lessons, chat asks why the rook is hanging.

For videos like these when you're explaining theory or the game, keep the bar open so players like me could really understand just how much better or how much worse a position is

Levi: if you're low elo you will mostly face e5 takes d4.
My enemies, 1000 elo players: Well yeah, but actually no

29:25 That reaction was priceless though. Computers really are something else.

Hey Levy these videos are really helping me improve my game. I fell out of touch with the game for a long time after learning just the basics but since I have been back at it during the pandemic, I had really been struggling. Your videos really covers the basic principles very well and I finally hit 700 playing the Danish Gambit. Just wanted to say thank you.

My son turned me on to your channel and this video has my appreciation level skyrocketing! Your great breakdown and supplying the notation to use as a reference along with the move tree/alt lines all in one is so efficient and helpful! Thanks!

Amazing video. I found the Danish a month ago, played it and absolutely loved it. Now this video is a blessing. Thanks Levy!

Thank you so much for this video! I have been playing the Danish almost every day for 5 minute games and have seen a lot of different defenses. You have enlightened me to several new attacking moves
