You genuinely gave me flashbacks to how it felt when I was playing the US Tech Tree, and somehow, I prefer playing that over the Cold War 7.0+ Tanks.

Truth to be told, the German tanks didn't even see the Hellcat until it shot one of them.

The Hellcat at the end got the ultra-damaged achievement.

This is a pretty accurate representation of how I first played these tanks in the US TT.

I initially had a hard time adjusting to the drop (low velocity) of the 75mm gun of the Sherman, and fighting T-34s, which required precise aiming to shoot at weak spots, made that more challenging.

Then the part with the Hellcat sums up my first experiences with it.

Actually, for most of the US TT, you can't pen anything from the front and you can't tank any shots. You're always the balanced tank. You rely on quick wit, cunning, accurate shooting and the .50 caliber to win engagements. Later, I came to appreciate the advantages of the US TT tanks that its peers do not have in their BRs (whether that may be stabilizers, the .50 cal, mobility, survivability).

Through the initial birthing pains, you can grow into a very experienced player, and a lot of the US TT players go through a similar experience, which make them usually better to match up with than against. So you end up with moderate-decent tanks with very experienced teammates most of the time.

О да, это то чувство, когда зашел в игру, не изучив 10 гайдов, 120 схем и 12 секретных документов.
С возвращением!

...As a person that was... For lack of a better term, "convinced" by friends to play War Thunder because they like it... The US Tree is just *suffering incarnate* for me. I just do not enjoy this game whatsoever. I've no idea what I'm doing, 90% of my choices to avoid combat lead me into worse combat situations than if I'd just gormlessly held W and slammed myself facefirst into a Tiger's 88mm gun, and I can barely even get a single kill most games.

And the best part is, I know its probably just me. I see plenty of Youtubers and streamers doing fantastically with US tanks... Even if, around 60% of the time, they're using premiums. And I *REFUSE* to spend a dime on a game like this.

I think this is one of the most thoughtful and best videos. Perfect game, my favorite Shermans, and of course the poor Hellcat.

This is fantastic, Daebom!
