Rumpelstiltskin,..
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a miller who had a beautiful daughter. The miller was a boastful man who liked to exaggerate, and one day he told the king that his daughter could spin straw into gold. Intrigued, the king summoned the miller's daughter to his palace and locked her in a room filled with straw.
The poor girl didn't know what to do, but just then, a strange little man appeared before her. "I can spin straw into gold for you," he said, "but in return, you must give me something of value." Desperate to escape the king's wrath, the miller's daughter agreed.
And so, night after night, the little man came to the girl's room and spun the straw into gold. The king was amazed and decided to marry the miller's daughter, thinking she possessed magical powers.
But on the third night, the little man demanded something even more precious than before. "If you can guess my name, I will spin the straw into gold for you one last time," he said. The miller's daughter was at a loss until she overheard the little man singing his name - Rumpelstiltskin.
Armed with this knowledge, the miller's daughter confronted Rumpelstiltskin and correctly guessed his name. Enraged, the little man stomped his foot so hard that he split in two and disappeared forever.
The miller's daughter was free from her bargain, and the king was left in awe of her cleverness. They lived happily ever after, and the tale of Rumpelstiltskin became a cautionary story of the dangers of making deals with mysterious beings.
