Shershah was character based film and Uri was event based so we assume what we will get from movie. Uri me agar Vikky se focus hatake events par jada focus hota to shayad unko ye movie pasand aati aisa mujhe lagta hai

Meanwhile in Border, Soldier gives a thumbs up to a guy in a fighter jet and the pilot also gives him a thumbs up.

The amount of masala in all movies that he mentioned including shershaha is sky high. In uri, it is minimal.
All these veterans like the movies which are close to there heart. It is easier for him to relate with shershah than Uri for obvious reasons (rightfully so).

Uri is still the best movie in terms all cinematic aspects, from screenplay to technicalities of the Defence domain.

URI toh mera motivation aut inspiration tha army mein jane ke liye 😂 shershah se merko itni feel nhi aai jitni mujhe uri se aai thi .. it was a masterpiece

I think URI is the best Indian movie based in military because what you see in FB and some old Bollywood movies that our army is struggling they are poor they don't have any facilities but one men is killing 12-15 soldiers by him self but in URI we seen that our military our special forces have all facilities they ruthless we seen the importance of every single men in the squad and it was realistic I loved the URI so much ❤ 🇮🇳

Although both are Army based movies
Uri covered an event & depicted our Army potential in protecting national borders as well as fighting back terrorism
On the other hand
Shershah showed story of Captain Batra and tried to cover the emotional side of our Army how they put their lives on the line.
So we shouldn't compare these two masterpieces
