'To Hold This Bill Up Is Cruel' | Senator Cory Booker on Judiciary Security Bill

Today, U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez (both D-N.J.), and co-authors of the Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act of 2021 were joined by Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illl.), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, in requesting unanimous passage of this legislation that would safeguard the personally identifiable information of federal judges and their immediate families. The bill is named after Daniel Anderl, son of U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas’s New Jersey who was brutally killed in a targeted attack 22 months ago. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) objected the passage of the bill for the second time.
