I got these for my birthday last year and they're probably the best sunglasses you can get. They're super comfortable and the clarity you get from them is outstanding. Probably the only pair of sunglasses I'll ever need.

I have these and I'm considering returning them. I love the style, but they are not as comfortable as they appear. The nose rests are causing some irritation and tend to become really bothersome after about 25 minutes of wear. If you're after the fashion go for it, but saying that 230 dollars is cheap for shades that probably cost about five bucks to make is ridiculous. I purchased the rayban 4226, and it is a very comfortable frame. Not as stylish but for long wear time, they're great. good luck

Beautiful sunglasses I love mine. I have had every kind of sunglasses. Shoes cologne and glasses my fortune lol. But honestly they are unreal. How they fit. Light. Style. Unreal.

Maui is confusing me with their lenses.. I ordered a pair that hasn't come yet with neutral grey, yet it looks mirrored, and the "bi-gradient" ones are more mirrored-looking than a regular Maui lens..the customer service person told me they weren't mirrored, but should have been more clear that they do have that effect.. is it just me?

Don't own any Maui Jim glasses yet, but leaning towards a similar "Wayfair" pair soon.

Having compared my brother's Maui Jim's aviators to my Ray Ban's, the build quality on Maui Jim feels superior and well worth the premium price... Plus from my understanding Maui Jim len's coating is more durable than Ray bans.

I bought this because i intend to use it on Bright sunny day in a tropical island. So, hmm at 1pm, its really very comfortable wearing the one in Grey/black. But if its not that sunny then its really dark. So i'm thinking if i should get a rose/brown instead as a spare.... The grey/black Definitely not recommended for driving imo

I tried the glasses today. Too big for me. And I don't find the nosepads very comfortable, they press (maybe bend a little bit but was not possible in the shop), but anyway I don't find the material of the nosepads comfortable, and worst the metal brackets of the nosepads press on the skin. For me, the Maui Jims without nosepads are more comfortable, and the aviator glasses like Cliff House or Wiki Wiki are the most comfortable to wear. Btw, the optical quality of Maui Jim glasses was much better in the good old days when the glasses were made by real glass.

I tried on a pair of RayBans today that are very similar to the Red Sands. I didn't get the model name and I can't find it online. Do you have any idea what model I'm talking about is?

It had a chromance lens, nose pieces like the Red Sands, and a similar lens shape.

Nice shades and review. BTW, I'm the guy who was #60 when you picked #61 as your giveaway winner last week. While I was disappointed, it made me laugh. Here's why: Many years ago my hometown hospital, in a partnership with several local retailers, ran a giveaway. They awarded the parents of the 10, 000th baby born from the the contest's start a generous package of products. Yeah, I was #9, 999.
