I'm 65. 1977 was probably the most intense year of my life. A WHOLE lot went on. Love your channel 😁

What a year for me!... graduated from high school, was deeply in love with my first serious relationship and had tons of friends.. life could not be better!

That was enjoyable to watch, Thank You. After graduating High School on 05Jun77, in August I got a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE, 440 with a Torqueflite. $1700. One of the strongest cars I ever had around. Now if I only had the foresight to hang on to it after all these

So many wonderful memories in this video. I was 11 that year and remember watching Charlie's Angels and Three's Company. I didn't see Star Wars until later and the same with Saturday Night Fever but you couldn't get away from the music of the Bee Gees. Great times!

I turned 8 in 1977 and I remember when Elvis died and my mom took his death really hard. Thank you Recollection Road for sharing! 😊❤

Crazy year. Some highs and definite lows. I will always remember going to see Star Wars for the first time with my dad. We were blown away!

Saturday night fever was the life I lived. Loved it at 18 years old!!!!

I sure wish you'd make these more in-depth and longer. 20 minutes might work. It's such a nice time to reminisce.

I was 15 when I went to the theatre to see Star Wars and Saturday Night Fever. Best years.

I was only 20 years old, and I was on my own. I was working at Hudson's Eastland Mall, and that was my second year anniversary of working for Hudson's Eastland Mall. I also remember when it snowed in Florida. I remember the movie Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta. I even remember Disco Dancing back then. I am now 64 years old and retired.
I also wished that videos were longer. About 20 to 25 Minutes would do.

"Roots" was shown in my 10th grade history class. I had already watched it on tv but that was my first experience with a VCR. Seeing the show again with commentary by my teacher really hit home and got me interested in history.

What a ride that year was! Last one as a carefree teen for me. I was pregnant in 1978, in time for that "fabulous" blizzard. Thank you!🙏💜

One of my favorite years ever. Turned 9yrs old this yr(May7). One of the main things was my family moved in Oct. '77(we stayed at our previous home for 15yrs)and met new friends. Became a sports fan(NBA on CBS and the NFL today). The best Easter and Xmas ever(got all the gifts i asked for). I live in Memphis and i remember when Elvis died, it was hot and humid as hell that day, thousands of people were in front of his mansion(all of the local/national networks covered it). What i also remember is dozens of people were medivac to hospitals from heat exhaustion/stroke standing in front of Elvis' mansion. In spite of this, i loved/enjoyed '77!!✌🏾🧡

Love the video and the comments. Fond memories of '77 myself as well. Glad we had those times to lean on now. What a wild world compared to that one.
