The Jezabels are an Australian indie-rock and disco-pop band, boy-girl-girl-boy line up, they have described their genre as "intensindie". They are first of all a group of friends who have been making music together for a few years now. And they are really good at.

The Jezabels are already big in Australia and climbed ARIA charts, as well as winning Best Independent Release at the ARIA Music Awards. They enjoyed a sold-out European and UK tour (and very enthusiastic articles and reviews). And if the artists they also like describe their music, we can start jumping for joy. They mention (among the others) The National, Serge Gainsbourg, Tegan and Sara, Cloud Control, Joan Jett, Josh Pyke and Lucinda Williams. They also love lots of things, though crosswords would surely top the list.

"Endless Summer" is a cocktail of power and intensity, romance and sorrow. They explain that the single is about an ideal that's non-existent, and gone. It's a sad story the one behind this song and lyrics; it's one of the last things one of their friends wrote on Facebook before passing away. A phrase that is sweet and devastating at the very same time: "In the middle of winter I found myself in an endless summer".

This song is definitely making our summer... endless. Heart, mind and soul.
