Why did PEPSI discontinue this iconic drink??

Not only it seems like kerosene, but, blue food in nature is almost nil. So, it's basic human instinct to avoid it (even some dieticians recommend eating in blue plate, to reduce food intake)

It got canceled due to the weird aftertaste it was leaving after consuming it. People who tried it during the marketing hype for this product including me did not go for a repeat purchase in the future because of it. Plain Pepsi was better than Pepsi Blue.

The kerosene was used for stoves in many homes instead of lpg, but If they bring it back now it will be a hit.

Because I haven't seen kerosene in a while and most of the people have shifted to lpg cylinders or gas pipelines for cooking.

kerosene is actually colourless. It's our govt that adds blue color to it for some reason.
