👍 when you say that, there's news of very strange military activity started there. I'm not sure that certain universities will even get that, demand too high from cloud farms to some shady players developing it for themselves, even before current Ai craziness i've found info about some private club which uses in 1990s already some mystery software model which predicted markets behaviour and crisis, there was even documentary about them by swedish tv. That club which predicted "financial future" became more popular and many famous politicians joined them and there was some scandals and even murder. The founder of that club was interrogated by USA government about that "magic software" they have used, but they managed to keep the secret.
So basically everything today reminds that story with that financial club but today other people managed to crack the nut with other means and instruments. That model invented in the club, which as they say - predicted the market till 2300s became obsolete now with such rapid Ai development.
