Well in all fairness slaves do get clothes, food, housing and no responsibility’s and if your alternative is starving or dying from exposure to the elements or hostile people who would want to end you for some reason, slavery sounds like the smart choice. Of course you can take responsibility for yourself and not be a slave and that’s my recommendation even though it’s hard sometimes, lots harder that just doing what your told by your owner.
