This is the problem with these videos, it is supposed that you know all the aids for leg yield. And that you do it once and get it first time. By the way it's not criticism its just when you are learning, it's almost impossible to see any aids from expert riders, while the rest of us look like we have come out of a spin cycle.

What's the difference between half-pass and leg-yielding?
Are there any other horse gaits (are they gaits?) in which legs cross each other?

Back again... ok... it's the horse doing leg-yield. And not the rider. #beginner

I was practicing leg yielding the other day, and I just cannot do it. Even with a crop/stick to tap their butt I just always find myself going the wrong way :/
