If you want to know what happened at the Manga the main girl Saneko, she has been suffering since her childhood like she was abused mentally and physically (though not se*ually, but it was leading to that) then she tries to end her suffering by ending her life but she becomes a zombie but still even after all this at the end nothing good happens with her the person she loved most they did not end up together and he also dies becoz of old age and she is living her life alone as a urban legend.... It's very sad man 😭😭😭 even after all this how she smiled at the final chapter shredded my heart to bits 💔
(if we take that "if chaper" as some parallel universe stuff and we take 57 chapter as the ending in either way - she is a vampire and he is a human so he will die and she will live on... The only possible way that happy ending happened like the boy also becomes a vampire )

Didn’t know this had an anime adaptation. It was one of the first romance manga I read with a real plot that wasn’t super slow and slice of life, has a special place in my heart
