Renault 1.6 16V weird unknown engine sound - SOLVED!

Renault 1.6 16V engine problem, sounds like hydraulic lifters, VVT pulley and VVT actuator, but they are all new... don't know what to do...

We demount an oil pan and conrod bearings... well, the 2nd cylinder conrod bearing was broken...

i have the same noise in megane 2 1.6 16v but after some hours my engine was broke the exhaust valve ...four valve by 8 ... Be cearful bro and this damage it will cost

Hello bro, you engine was leaking oil or smoking before you fix the problem? I have a megane 2 2.0 and sounds the same. Everybody say tha sound comes from the lifters.

Bok Peter! Pitanje - zvuk kuckanja nakon sto upalis motor i dodje u leer (od pete do sedme sekunde) je ostao i nakon zamjene letecih lezajeva? Ovo glasno kad zaturiras motor je sigurno leteci lezaj, ali pitam za ovo kuckanje u leeru... Hvala!

this sound was only on hot engine? i also have noise but only on hot and idle engine. after ~1000rpm the noise disappear.. i have video in my account

Anyone know if this engine is supposed to have a weather proof cover? My spark plug Wells keep getting soaked inside but can't find a cover anywhere

My Renault Megane ii 2005 1.6 16v LM Saloon Automatic gearbox is making a weird noise if I move slowly in the traffic or if I turn left or right, oil in the engine is normal. And there is no warning light on in the dashboard. pls need some help mechanics have ripped my wallet off
