+Yangyang Cheng, hi, I am learning Chinese. I already know quite a bit, but want to go over everything again and make sure I'm getting things right. I went to yoyochinese, and watched a video called, "how to pronounce "chu", "qu", "ren", and "yan" properly". I had a question, but it didn't seem to publish. So, here it is: I know some people in Taiwan, and some of them pronounce the pinyin "r" how you did. While others seemed to pronounce it similar to the English "r", or more like the Japanese "r" with your tongue curled back. Which is right? Both? Can you say either? Also, I would like to thankyou very much, because finding your videos, really was God's will, and I'm so happy and thankful. I love your videos, because you explain so clearly. Even though almost everything I knew, most of the things I had just guessed, because I self-teach myself. So when you explain it, I'm like, "oh, so I was right"!!! Because many things I just learnt by hearing others speak, and guessing the meaning with a dictionary next to me... Anyway, God bless you, and I look forward to hearing and seeing more of you! Jong Han.

the first five are the hand gestures I always use! So that one was easy. For the rest... I'll need some time to learn.

looks a bit like BSL (British Sign Language). However, I'm not an expert. So, anyone who knows BSL can disagree with me.

Honestly .. this method of counting on your hand makes no sense .. if you are smart enough to learn the symbols for counting to ten on one hand... you should be smart enough to count in your head. I am interested to know how counting on one hand surfaced, because in 90% of the world it seems we use two hands. (or should i say 83% of the world :P)
