The UN peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon said Israeli tanks “forcibly entered” one of its positions on Sunday, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded it leave the area. International criticism is growing after Israeli forces have repeatedly fired on UN peacekeepers since the start of its ground operation in Lebanon. Five peacekeepers have been wounded in attacks that struck their positions in recent days, most of them blamed on Israeli forces.

Those UN peacekeepers are in southern Lebanon is to stop Hezbollah from attacking Israel. What's " unacceptable " is that they failed to do that. Now the the peacekeepers are just in the way.

UNSC 1701 ties UNIFIL to Lebanese government, which became ruled by Hezbollah. They are not observers, and were not intended to be that limited. They are participants. I don't think UNIFIL soldiers are aware of the text in the resolution. Guterres certanly would like a private army to fight Israel. Macron and Meloni are too emotional to understand the legal implications. Just go home!

Israel has bitten off more than it can chew. China has invested heavily in Iran, if they are attacked they will defend. Russia has given missile defence systems to Iran missiles ect.
The conflict is now International, not Israel against Hezbolla only
