The ancient sirehound only has 5 of the 9 elements in Pikmin. In this video I go over and cover the 4 missing types that were not shown in the final boss fight of Pikmin 4.

If you compare the size of the ancient sirehound to an adult human, then it is the size of a puppy

I think it's one of my favorite videos you made
The concept, the ideas, the drawing...
Everything is amazing!

To be fair, having to deal with almost 8 phases is way too much for a final boss. Plus I feel like they tried to go with the more deadlier phases minus ice. Water, Poison, and Crystal wouldn’t be as difficult if you just stuck with their respective pikmin.

Ah yes, the legendary Pikmin game files

honestly surprised there was no water or poison phase. you'd think at the end of a cave recommending Blue and Whites they would add it in, but I guess it would be too easy with a mass amount of them. cool drawing btw

What if the sirehound floods the map so you have to ride on Oatchi and can only use blues

Each phase is based upon each of the standard pikmin types except the 3 you are recomended to use in the cave (being purple, blue and white)

The first phase mainly kills with crushing, wich rock pikmin is useful against
The other 3 phases are yellow red and ice obviously
And the last phase is for winged pikmin, as they can fly over the gloom and charge it tail when flying

Maybe for the water phase, he gets all soggy and shake of water drops like the titan dweevil ?

For the water phase I'd actually take a note from Namielle from Monster Hunter-- like you mention it creates puddles with its stomp attacks, but to make things interesting these puddles act differently from the usual puddles, actively splashing outwards in wave patterns from the dog's location as it jumps around. For its big attack, it sticks its snout into the ground and conjures multiple geysers from each puddle, leaving only thin pathways of dry land to stand in as you go for its tail.

I actually came up with something interesting for the water phase. The first attack it’ll send a widespread attack of bubbles. Any pikmin not released in time will then get inhaled by Sirehound and eaten. Then the second attack, it‘ll stomp the ground which will cause a bunch of geysers creating a water maze. If you manage to get through the water maze, you can attack the tail. The mazes will get harder the more damage you do. Plus the geyser will push you and oatchi back so you can’t just go through them with blue pikmin and Oatchi.

“Pikmin 5 in 2038”

Hearing that at the end gives me pain

I think water would been when sirehound stomps three parts of the ground open up and start spewing out water like the geysers... only its 10x bigger.

I think they didn’t add these so the player doesn’t get overwhelmed or having to leave to add some pikmin for one specific part

The “Poison and Winged Sirehound” forms are already in place when he has the Gloom power. And the reason why every other type wasn’t put in is because Nintendo was using elements as attacks for the Ancient Sirehound. But still great concepts!

Every phases feels like the purples are good for them because of the tail, you can leave the first phase for rock bois.

I think for water the sire hound shakes splashing water all around the field, proving deadly to wandering Pikmin

Not the most interesting ideas (you still did very well though)
Here is my ideas for the missing types:

Rocks: I feel like the first phase already covers rocks in a way, since it’s a lot of crushing hazards that they are completely fine by (maybe cover the tail in crystals idk)

Winged: same case with rocks, wings can fly over the gloom (I think since they can do it with other hazards it shoots) and are the most ideal for bringing it down in the final phase (besides purples for some reason)

Blue: summons geysers that quickly start flooding the area with water and will start sending waves to throw you and your pikmin off Oatchi (you have to fight under the water with your blues and glows while the dog keeps the other types safe) it will also occasionally jump and try to crush you and your dog, once you bring down its tail (done by grabbing its tail after it tries to jump on you) the water will disappear momentarily for every type to attack.

Poison: gas starts flowing out of the sirehound and leaves a poison cloud wherever he steps (he also becomes immune to white pikmin poison) he will constantly be trying to eat and ram your Pikmin in this phase which leaves a lot of trails of poison that only whites can handle, sometimes he’ll stop and go to the middle to rapidly spin and spit out puddles of poison (similar to that one purple rabbit in Mario Odyssey) which this is also the moment to try to grab its tail and attack.

this is a really cool video but I feel like by title-ing it as if they were a bunch of scrapped ideas with half implemented code was a bad idea. I can't help but leave with a feeling of 'man I was really looking forward to hearing about the forgotten phases' rather than 'man I really loved seeing all those new ideas for phases' . It's maybe nitpick but I feel like I would still have clicked on a video called something like "I added 4 new phases to the sire hound fight" and I would've left just thinking about how cool everything was rather than being disappointed.
I do think the actual video itself was really great though, I want to make that clear. I thought you had some cool ideas and I think your VoiceOver and your editing and everything was all really good

Deflowering, squishing, reflowering, explosions & getting eaten are all elemental attacks (:

But absolutely nothing more chilling and unforgivable than anyone who reminds people who subscribe by showing the percentage of people who aren't subscribed.
