All Heathrow staff should go sick for a few days. Close the airport. Cause a bit of air chaos. The government might then tell Khan where to shove his ulez.

Heathrow is a national airport hub, and as with national monuments the decision as to what happens to them should not have been handed over to a London Mayor. Both the Labour Mayor and the Conservative and cross party incompetent legislation factory are responsible.

How can people afford £12.50 s day, i.e., £4575 a year & that is on their net pay. So the £12.50 is a double tax. No wonder people are either choosing to work from home or not work at all because work no longer pays.

How surprising - not - that Sadiq should include one of the busiest hubs in the UK in his cash-grab scam. Hopefully, this son of a bus-driver, whose bus was 100% non-compliant at a time when London suffered from thick smog, will be heavily kicked out of London next year. I'm British, I live as an immigrant in France, living by French rules, but I'm beginning to get totally sick of children of economic immigrants dictating how the UK should be run. If they don't like it, they should go back to the countries of their ancestors and make everyone's life better in those countries.

I’m an airside cargo driver at Heathrow, a few of our lads have been caught out by this, one works six days a week AND travels in to see his daughter on Sundays as well, so £96 A WEEK for him, this is beyond criminal, it makes my piss boil, he’s basically been priced out of work !! Come airside and see for yourselves the thousands of diesel vehicles operating at least 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, they include, (lorries, buses, coaches, cargo lifters, pushback vehicles, vans, and buggies, (of which some admittedly are electric).
Add the aircraft emissions and finally the gas and electricity needed to keep this small City operational !! All this pollution, yet not a penny charged to Heathrow Airport Ltd (HAL) for poisoning half of West London ! Go figure.

Surely Heathrow Airport can fine the ULEZ van for trespassing on airport land. It will at least go some way in deterring this unwholesome extortion.

251 working days in a year = £3, 137.50 ULEZ charge if you have to commute into the charge zone. This is a big deal for Heathrow workers! I'm surprised the unions aren't all over this. Rip Off Britain.

It's madness the staff have to pay £12.50 to park in a staff car park, the planes are descending to land flying just 30 metres above the car park.

What staff need to do is hire a large van to sit behind the ULEZ van at the start and finish of each shift

I was just doing so rough maths, assuming only 3000 staff are on duty at any one time as they would be on shift work, then £25 per day multiply that up per year comes to £6, 300, 000 I think the staff at Heathrow represent a good potion of the population in general regarding non-complaint cars, I bet Khan is salivating at those figures, that is going to be a huge income.
