Just wait til you're embarressed about making a mistake and exclaim that you are "embarressada"

I'm not 100% on the etymology, but 'ferro' being Latin for 'iron' means this probably literally translates to "Iron Track/Lane"

Everyone always asks about the nouns. Nouns are easy. Verbs in just about any language that isn't English will make English speakers cry.

Okay but 'ferrocarril' is a beautiful word. I love the way it sounds. 😮

This was a constant in my Spanish class: guessing if the word is a cognate, and then guessing what it would be. There were times when i just had to stop and tell my Spanish teacher that it felt weird that i was improvising AND getting it right

Yeah as a French we do that with Italian.. We try adding an O or i after every word and take an Italian accent and pretend we're speaking Italiano (do the exaggerated hand gesture on top)

Vocabulary is far easier than verb tenses.

Ferrocarril is the actual machine, like the engine. Railroad will be just "via de tren."

Iron Car. That rolling of the R's was fantastic! I'm Hispanic and I cannot roll my R's to save my life. 😢

It's the different endings to words based on reference to time that killed me 😂

That Catalan pronunciation makes me smile. It’s as smooth as Gaudí’s buildings.

Talking about Spanish, I love embarazada and embarassed, embarazada is Spanish for pregnant, and the word in Spanish for embarassed is avergonzado XD.

This channel also taught me you can sound like you know some Spanish just by spelling SOCKS. 😂

Don’t forget to tell your Spanish speaking friends how “excitado” you are for learning Spanish! :)

Rollercoaster was always my favorite Spanish word and its origin. Then you have the gender exception words. Don't speak it since high school but can understand it somewhat still. XD

The last one made me laugh 🤣🤣🤣
It is not that easy. I used to think like mushie. Just add extra O to every word 😅
