Rare MISTAKE Print Yu-Gi-Oh Card You Never Knew!

Which of these two arts do you prefer for Dark Paladin? Personally, I think the close-up art for Duel Master's Guide looks like a portrait, which is pretty uncommon in Yu-Gi-Oh art, so it's my pick!

Why the hell would I give up an alternate version for the “correct” one when the Alternate was more cool

I feel like the correct version has the cooler stance, but the background with the spellbinding circle really makes the alternate artwork stand out.

Maybe they could combine the two card artworks for a later rerelease.

I had one of those Alternate Art ones back in the day. That and an pretty old Rarity of Black Luster Soldier, too bad they got trashed decades ago RIP the nostalgia.

One of my all time favorites! I just wish my kid self would’ve done a better job with keeping cards 😭 I had quite a few of both artworks, but as a kid I lost or damaged them. 😭

Pulled the misprint 2x back in the day. Wish I took better care of them, but I was that kid that used a rubber band to keep my deck together and didn't have deck sleeves. 😅

I had a misprint that was arguably rarer. I had a 1st Ed Cyber Phoenix that had the name Destruction of Destiny and the Ulti Foil layer of Chainsaw Insect, which wasn’t even in the same set as the Phoenix.

I nearly died when pulling Dark Paladin from a pack bought. Ironically a friend of mine pulled Dark Magician Girl the same day. Never knew of the misprint though

The story is that a lot of people kept the misprint thinking that it would be worth more in the future only for less reprints to be released, resulting in the reprint being more valuable than the original misprint
