I tend to agree with you, esp. for Mac. Mendeley for Mac is a joke; doesn't even support tags, not to mention it's slow and, choppy. I'd go for Zotero every time.

Not only have I not heard of any of those, I don't even know what referencing software is. But, I'd guess that Zotero is pronounced Zo-teero.
