There's been a lot of back and forth about the release date of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, and in this video I do a recap of everything there is to know about this upcoming budget samsung tablet. It is still set to drop this year and be considered as the 2021 galaxy tab a8, and the hope by Samsung is to grab as many buyers as possible - the potential issue here is that the new galaxy tab a8 may be boasting performance that is around the galaxy tab a7 we had last year with its Qualcomm chipset.
In either case, the all new samsung galaxy tab a8 or the 2021 tab a8 that will be dropped this year may not catch as much attention, unless there are additional features exciting enough to differentiate it in a major way when compared to the current samsung galaxy tab a7.

An interesting note, the Unisoc T618 actually is slightly more powerful than the SD 662. In PUBG Mobile it can play it at a higher graphics settings in Smooth compared to the Tab A7

Ah ffs... I just bought the A7 for my girlfriend for Christmas and she's opening it tomorrow! I see the A8 on the Samsung website now selling for the same price too... So I gotta tell her she might want to leave it in its original packaging and untouched till I return it and order the A8 instead! 😂 1 extra GB of ram, 50 more nits of brightness, minor design refresh, sideways or very slight downgrade in chipset... Might just not bother - for the gift giving experience!

Ivan good news! You can finally move apps to the SD Card in the Tab A7 after a recent Update!

Judging from my personal use I would confidently say that the display if the tab A7 is TFT because when you look the tablet from the side there is a noticable brightness dip this is just the nature of a thin film transistor which have generally poor to mediocre viewing angles, where as in an In Plain Switching display it builds of the TFT technology however with the added bonus of okay to great viewing angles, I hope this comment could help somebody lol.

I prefer the Snapdragon chip but Samsung is resorting to cost cutting measures with Unisoc.

4/64 should be standard for a 2021 tablet. Otherwise, no noticeable improvement to its predecessor. Why pay more for a similar performance tablet??

Is this A8 better than the A7...because I'm having problems with my A7. The upper half of the screen is flickering make it double vision. I only had it for about 3 weeks. I did add a sd card. What is the issue???

I have an TAB S3 that still works but is showing it's age...would a new A8 be faster or better then my older TAB S3 ? Seems that the A8 would have 4 gigs of ram that my TAB S3 has but the A8 would have a newer chipset AND be able to go up to Android 11 and beyond which my TAB S3 don't really need a TAB S7 or 8 and if you're right about the A* still having a 3.5 headphone jack that would be great...Thanks for any input !!
