Stopped at John Comp’s afew weeks ago to pick up my seed. My plots are sprayed and ready to plant buckwheat. Waiting another week before I plant. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Love the videos.

I must have watched a dozen hours of these videos this winter. I just planted six acres over the weekend in Northern Wisconsin. I can't wait to see how it does.

Jeff, this is a great refresher video for me and it’s perfect timing. I’m going to spread the buckwheat this Memorial Day weekend in central Wisconsin. I know what you mean about shorting yourself with your own great advice! I got my PackerMAXX on order from Lincoln and he is great too but he has the “good problem” of running out of supplies and needing to back order/ long lead time on the cultipackers. Same thing happening with John Comp and his switchgrass. Your success is helping a lot of people AND businesses and I truly believe that is because you give great advice and it’s easy to see that you’re an honest businessman who has his client’s interests at heart and I think that I can speak for everyone who watches your videos when I say that we all greatly appreciate what you do! Thanks again and congratulations on your business success. I look forward to meeting you sometime.

I had such great luck with this method last year that I cleared three more plots in the spring where I'm going to employ the same methods. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff, amazed at how many animals are coming to the water holes! It wasn't two days, and we got our first inventory on bucks! Buckwheat next! Thanks for all the information!

Second spray and knocked over my plot last Friday. Plan to broadcast the buckwheat this Saturday. Hand spreader. A single strap 3 gallon shoulder sprayer and a wheelhorse getting it done!

I got my buckwheat for the year and my local mill asked if I knew why they would be selling buckwheat like crazy this year and last. I told them it was likely because of you and this method.

This is my first year of doing a food plot and without these videos to go by i probably wouldn't have even attempted it, so thank you very much for that, I would love for you guys to make a video on extreme weather food plots..namely rain and wind

Thanks again Jeff for a great informational video. As land owner, with limited equipment, trying to create high quality foodplots, your channel is #1 for me!

I just got my buckwheat planted yesterday ahead of a great rain last night. It looks like tomorrow and monday nights will be very cold, but from then on, cold is behind us in the South. I know buckwheat is not cold tolerant. My question is will these next two cold, cold nights impact germination, or is buckwheat sensitive to cold only after germination???

Jeff....great info again. I'll try the cultipacking BEFORE planting my brassica this year, and cultipack AFTER planting my peas, beans and oats this year. It should make it a lot easier. I'll be planting my buckwheat the first week of June tied in with a rain. Thanks again, Bob

Jef, I sprayed my first application of Gly / 2-4D 5/15/21 then hit for the 2nd time 6/5/21 looking to hit again in about 2 weeks. Then wait a few days to plant my Buck Wheat. My Question is some of my plots have some existing thatch and some parts of the plots have bare soil, can I broadcast the buckwheat into the thatch and run my cltipacker over it a few times? looking to do this with rain in the immediate forecast.
Thanks Jeff for all you provide us with!

I watch all your video's religiously lol!! I see a trend of the vast majority being Northern based. I would love to see the difference between North and south strategies as I live in North Carolina. I'm sure both regions will not support the same habitat structures to some degree. I thoroughly love the thought and the detailed planning that goes into every step and detail that goes into Whitetail Habitat growth. In NC we are not known to have tremendously big whitetail bucks other than the rare occasion. Maybe if I have not already missed it a video which overlooks picking your whitetail strategy for your land based on your property. I find that this is a very situational strategy seeing how diverse land can be. There are no other content creators as detailed and as informed as yourself for the southeast or south. Thank you for all you do!!
