Just had a heart-to-heart talk with my SHS crush who I hadn't talked too after getting rejected by her, that was 3 years ago, went to her house and told her I wanted to be more than friends but got rejected instantly. We're both in college now, supposedly same batch but i stopped because of the pandemic, so she's graduating first and I feel like our time together is not enough.

But sitting in the plaza we talked about why she rejected me, all those years I really blamed myself for rushing myself to confessing my feelings, but now I know her reason/s. When pandemic struck she was feeling very down and all (self-diagnosed depression) and she wouldn't date anyone in the same CoF but she silently told me "but that depends". I told her I blamed myself for everything because after that confession we never talked for 3 years, she re-assured me it wasn't me who was the problem but her way of thinking that time.

We did a bit of catching up, then after all the talking we decided to walk as we didn't want to go home yet despite being late at night. But I never thought i'd experience a lot of first times with her that night. That night was the first time she hugged me, first time she layed her head on my shoulder, first time walking in the park with her, and the first time I held her hands. The whole walk even going to the spot where she rides a tricycle home we were still holding hands, It was all so surreal to me, as the last time we had a physical contact with each other was the first time i met her, it was raining and I had an umbrella she hugged my left arm while I was holding the umbrella with my right and crossed the road together.

But despite eveything, the 3 years of blaming myself, my feelings for her never changed, I always care for her, even Prayed for her. We're currently talking still and I still can't get over what happened that night, but this music really hit me especially with the lyrics "There are times I make believe, what would have happened, If we played it differently".

I will come back for updates (edits) with our progress together, I hope not to ruin it, I can't lose her again.

There was this person that I've been into. We've been mutual for two years, and she wanted to be committed to our relationship while I couldn't. I haven't been in love and don't have any idea how to love. 

We hit our highs and lows. There are times we barely talk for weeks and are not even able to see each other at our campus. 

Upon entering college, I told her that I wanted to be the best version of myself so I could pursue her in the future. I wanted to be committed once I graduated. But, months before my graduation, I find out that she has a boyfriend. I wanted to blame myself for not trying hard enough to make her feel that I truly loved her.
