I used to have a MK1 Galaxy with the VR6 engine. The Gakaxy was badged V6. The engine sound was very muted though and thanks to the autobox and weight, it wasn't quick at all, but was very relaxed and comfortable on long journeys. Ours was in showroom condition when I bought it, even 10 years ago the MK1 Galaxy was rare, the V6 rarer and a rust and dent free one like ours was even rarer. We had a few holidays and long trips in her and it was utterly reliable...but she liked to drink petrol for fun. Checking online, she was last MoTd 5 years ago. Shame.

I had a 1800 turbo that was a project 2000 car with twin headlights and lowered suspension I miss that car 😢

My mate had one years ago 2.8 I think 0 to petrol station instantly 🤣❗ The drains by the windscreen used to block filling the passenger footwell full of water causing the windows and open and unlock over night 😳❓ You'd come out in the morning windows down doors unlocked 🤯❗

VR6 power for shifting a family of 5 that weighs a family of 9.

The fact that it's left hand drive must mean it's a German spec Sharan that wasn't sold in the UK to begin with.
It's strange how it says 'GL' on the front right wing, yet it says 'VR6' on the back.
