I take our homeschooling all over our state, I love the freedom to take our classroom anywhere. We do 4 hours a day and my daughter is leaps and bounds ahead of her age group. We use The Good and the Beautiful curriculum, it’s FREE!

They tried to turn us all away from homeschooling by telling us all that the homeschool kid would turn out weird and un socialized. But they were just scared of the potential of a properly run homeschool group. They’re really amazing.

I homeshooled my kids. I send them to school now. Not public school. My problem with the majority of homeschool moms and children was the arrogance. I wasnt homeschooling my kid to be "better" than other people. I was doing it because i wanted to do better for my children. In my experience, its hard to be friends with moms that arent constantly comparing themselves and why they were better for homeschooling. It was in fact exhausting. So i put my kids back in school with regular people that werent bragging all of the time. It really changed my mind about homeschooling.

It’s Super Fun my middle sissy. And I we Absolutely loved being homeschooled together :) And our mom homeschooled for a small handful of years when we were growing up :) And we learned way way more than the public school kids for sure. And the teachers in Ungodly public schools didn’t know what to do with me when I little was a special needs kid and I got sent home hours of homework that were 5 /6 pages long. and my mom would be up all night with me doing it it was awful:( And the kids were mean:( And I absolutely wish that I would that I would have been homeschooled through high school because again Ungodly Public schools It was extremely extremely extremely difficult/painful for me there I’m super super super glad/grateful to God that I graduated from high school:) and that the Past is absolutely behind me for good!!

That isnt the biggest misconception its actually that the kids arent being socialized enough.

Interesting - in my experience assumptions skew much more towards “crazy hippies who just let children loose and don’t provide any education” 😅

Thats its straight up better than normal school. One is not just definetely better than the other, it all depends on the kid and what works for them. The fight abt proving that one side is so much better then the other is ridiculous lol.

It’s not the socializing I worry about it’s about the actual education, mathematics, and all of that does matter learning how to read matters learning how to write matters are you actually qualified to teach for people who says oh anyone could teach you sound ignorant no they cannot
