Thanks for the awesome DETAILED reviews. When you start purchasing rods in these price points you get guys like us who really care about the details. I make 4 trips a year to Mille Lacs and have gone through a big upgrade of all of my spinning gear. The Exprides made their way from my primary casting rods into my spinning set up. I do wish they made a 7’6 ML or even a 7’6 L for a hair jig rod.

Just got one man! I’m a big shimano fan boy and surprisingly it’s taken me this long! Just subbed!

I was looking and hesitated whole year about Expride but after watching this video finally I bought my first Shimano Expride 7'2" MH Glass for my spinnerbaits from Omnia! Thanks!

You are 100% correct on the Shimano Expride 7’M spinning. I put the new Stradic FL 2500hg on it. I’m obsessed.

7’2 medium heavy is excellent
7’2 heavy needs to be 7’3
I may sell mine as the extra inch on the Dobyns Savvy and or Champion 735 blows it away. A lot more versatile as well
Great review!

Hey Brian I have a question for you what expride B spinning rod would you recommend for tube bait fishing. I live in Missouri and I have similar structure no weeds alot of rock pea gravel and a lot of wood lay downs .god bless.

I have the 7'0'' Light + coming in the mail, to be used to replace my old spinning 6ft noodle-whip ultralight for trout--It was my Rooster Tail spinner rid. To complete the collection, I wanted the casting rod 6'10' ML (no glass) to cover the range across my 7 ft Light +, my 7ft M, and my Dobyn's Sierra 734C Heavy (which is truly a MH+). Do you think that will cover the range efffectively, under the Frog rod class? (Frog rod not considered here.) Suggestions for otherwise? Thanks! Great detail n' coverage on points no one discusses.

If you were going to drop shot in the grass what rod would you use.

Thanks for the info on the 6"10 ml, wishing it had a little more back bone as I realy wanted it... but the 7'0 m seems just a little more than I wanted but may actually be acceptable.. an between would be perfect, but I quessing I'm splitting hairs now...Just no funds to buy them all !!!😁

Yeah I’m looking for a good all around spinning rod sounds like that 7 medium would be a good one. I have tons of baitcasters but no solid spinning gear. Neds weightless senkos stuff like that some lighter baits sounds like this one would fit what I’m looking for Thanks 😊

Had my eye on the 7’6" MH F for open water jig fishing / swim jig and chatterbaits. What do you think ?

Good reviews. The expride rods are awesome for the money. I just picked up two of the poison adrena rods. They seem nice too.

I love Exprides. I just saw that the older Expride models are on sale at ALFC for 20% off. My favorite rods in the Expride lineup are the 6’10 M (might be the best jerkbait rod ever) 7’2 MH, and 7’3 XH (might be the best frog rod ever imo). Thanks for your reviews!

Did a lot of research for a frog rod, you're right most people said to go with the XH 7"3 for heavy cover and the 7"2 for lighter open cover stuff.

Just ordered the 7"3, I can't wait to fishing with it😁

I’ve been researching rods for awhile now looking for a jig rod for open water and docks. Rock is main structure. Megabass Destroyer, Dobyns Champion Extreme are the two i’m looking at. Sensitivity important. What’s anyone’s opinion? Not going to drop the dough for a NRX.

I just got the 7’3” poison adrena med hvy regular fast action..What would you say it’s designed for? I’m hoping it’s a good bladed jig and crankbait rod 🤔
