the forward ball also promotes a more out to in path which could be the cause of the slice. Its not a 1 way problem

Yes! Jon rahm kinda does this… ball way up, club head middle of feet and by the time the club reaches ball it’s square. This also for people who get hands way infront of club head (which is me) great advice !

One of the most simple and impactful tricks. I used this for years.

They are very good tutors, their student made a stance and ball position change. The results for him were a huge improvement, it’s not a generic fix for all, but simply advice that could benefit others.

You actually nailed it! When you start messing around with how you approach and swing through that ball... the quicker you realize how EASY and natural it is to hit a stationary object haha!

Believe me. I'm only on my 5th year... but it was last year I realized I was WAY over complicating things. I started focusing on feels and filming myself... and when you hit good... it looks like you're super open at address from the hitters perspective. Look at his hands and feet when he adjusts.

Depends on your closure rate. Path right back, path left forward... Hit driver draws from middle front, hit fades from very front.

Yes but also path is a factor. It's the old addage that face determines direction and path determines spin (shot shape). The outside left heel gives slice path.

Or just pre close the face slightly until you hit it straight and keep your stance the same.

So can you adjust your stance to hit a fade or draw without changing your swing ?

Will also make club path more leftward at impact. Thus potentially exacerbating a slice.

Actually, easier to hit the ball right because you'll be coming across the ball. The driver swings in an arc. Kelly Norda just talked about that in her video, she never puts the ball forward and high because it's too easy to hit a slice

Everyone is different of course, but this is me all day long and I hit it very consistently. I don’t hit it far because I’m old, but I can hold my own😊

The more forward the ball is, the more you're going to hit the outside quater and slice it! Or with a shut club face hit it low left, it's more about the swing path/shaft plane . . I could go on

I find that if I place the ball only two ball lengths forward of center it works best. I used to have the ball way forward, always hitting a fade with less distance.

Amateurs often underestimate the subtleties and will often overshoot things. As a fitter, when I tell clients: “move the ball slightly back/forward in your stance”. They’ll either overshoot the mark massively or go the wrong direction.

I think this works different for different swings. For example I have trouble releasing the club so ball forward is like a straight push cut, slightly back from forward it’s a cut, and slightly back from that I can actually hit a draw … I’m no scientist or professional at golf but that’s just what happens.

what a beautiful driving range. i would go there every day.

Moving the ball up in the stance will also make your path more out to in. Depending on your swing, this could actually make a slice worse. Try it, but dont be discouraged if it doesnt work for you. Golf tips arent one size fits all! Play well fellas.

So if that's the case what in my swing am I doing to make this complete opposite in my scenario? I put it toward and end up slicing compared to bringing it back in the stance I can pull it to the left

This was supposed to blow my mind? One of the most common knowledge tips I ever seen
