I’ve had the Ultra for 2 days now, and I can tell you that it’s night and day better. Soundstage is great, bass is nice and has a sound bubble similar to the Ambeo soundbar. No DTS sucks and the 1 HDMI input is embarrassing.

How does the Ultra, sub 4, and era 300s combo stand up to the Quad + sub? Ive been waiting for Sonos to drop before i bought. Also do you advise against the Quad if I own 2 cats? They destroyed my old Onkyo setup.😢

For me, and probably most Sonos buyers, it would be interesting so hear if it is worth the upgrade from Arc to Ultra. The sub 4 is probably worth to get if you already own a Gen 3 and want to expand on that bass 👍

Set up the quad, Q990D, and Sonos at the same time. Sit 1-3 of your friends and blind fold them. Then play scenes and switch back n forth between the set ups. And get a consensus on who thinks what about which sound. Blind test them.

Another great video. I would love to see a comparison between the Sonos arc ultra (by itself) vs Sonos Arc + sub + era 300s as rears. If the surround system sound better than the arc ultra by itself, I’ll probably just save my money and keep what I already have.

I would be interested in a comparison between the arc with sub and the arc Ultra without sub as they are quite similar in Price with some big discounts on the old Arc. And it answers the question whether the sub is urgently needed with the Ultra or not

0:45 i wasn’t too knowledgeable about soundbars back then and you helped influence my decision on getting the Arc those years ago. Even helped when my TV & Arc weren’t cooperating together with volume control. I’ve learned so much about audio in general since then and despite all the issues with that Sonos app (which actually doesn’t effect me too much). I appreciate & thank you for the help. I have no regrets with my Arc even if there’s arguably (or subjectively) better soundbar systems. You’re the man!

I just ordered the Beam 2 + sub mini + ERA 100's so you recommend this set up ? my room is only 12x14 feet with 7.5 foot ceilings will this set up be enough or should i go with the ARC ULTRA I watch alot of sports and news and movies thx cheers from Canada
