6 years ago, I had discovered this song while studying at my university library. It was a bright day, I had just finished a grueling math assignment, and I was feeling like having a good day. Coming from a lifetime of depression, I remember walking along the coastline and feeling happy for the first time. I stopped to smell the roses, and in that moment it began to bud in me that there was hope. I didn’t have to die, things weren’t that bad, and quite frankly, everything will be okay.
