Very good, Directly mounted on axle, with out gear, finally and ultimate thing is Permanent magnet high efficiency motors. if it can bear the vibrations/hunting... Oscillations trail should be conducted. If it can with stand, oscillation trail for high speed trains..., it can change the dimensions of the electric traction.
