In this video I will show you how I read and answered the questions on this paper, and then what marks I gained (and missed!) and why.
You will pick up tips and skills about how to read and answer questions to increase your marks.
Stop the video to read the question yourself before I go through my thoughts and answers - be ready to hit pause😊

My aim is to make A level biology accessible to ALL students, regardless of family income. You can subscribe to the whole course-worth of videos for not a lot, and earn the money back, if you haven't got access to the 'bank of mum and dad'. There's also a freebie 'How to improve your grade up to an A*' so it'll be worth having a look and picking that up😁

hey! thank you so much for this video! i was just wondering would it be wrong to say for question 23b that the chemoreceptors detect the carbon dioxide concentration in the blood rather than the carbonic acid?

Hi!!! Thanks for the video. For the question where the transmission across the Purkyne fibres is slower, why can't you say that there will be arrythmia present, since won't ur SAN continue to produce depolarisation at a constant rate, but the ventricular contractions will be much slower henc ewill become out of sync, so ventricular fibrilation? Would really appreciate if you reply....

Hello at 51:40 the RQ in the mark scheme is 0.9 but you wrote 0.89 would the examiner penalise this ?
