i spent the better part of 2021 reading dramione fanfictions and since then, i have read more than 300 stories, so i decided to make a youtube channel to share with you all my thoughts & two cents, not only on fan works but also on books and reading in general.

Loved this topic! I’d add The Manuscript by alexandra_emerson. The premise is that D&H have had a pretty major fight (after years of an established relationship together) and D has left & it looks like they will break up. But then H runs across a novel manuscript of their history together (written by D) with loving truth-telling notes written in the margins to H. In it she sees episodes of their lives together shaded by little explanations from him that recolor the whole way she views the incidents. Basically it is his love letter to her and seeks to show her his true abiding love and yet to show her that he loves her enough to let her go and release her with respect, kindness, and grace . . . but of course the actual outcome is to whisper to H’s heart that she wants to pursue reconciliation and start fresh with a new paradigm. This work fits the category you set of alternative format in that most of the text is Draco’s manuscript with his personal notes to H as an aside. A couple things I like about this: 1) author Draco—yes please, 2) the book is raw and real and doesn’t sugar coat their difficult history and D’s unconditional love shines through even when wading through seemingly ugly interactions they have had 3) established-relationship D&H—another yes please, 4) homage to the author, who penned one of my all-time favorites: Timeless
