I remember there was a 'Run SQL Command line' software wherein we could directly go to the SQL instead of typing sqlplus sys..

I did everything as in this video. After typing in sqlplus sys at the command line. It displays:
"sqlplus" is not an internal or external
command, executable program or batch file.

I have installed the same SQL as in your video and setup the things accordingly but when I am trying logging in it Says: "ORA-12543: TNS:destination host unreachable" I have stopped the system firewall as well to test it. but no result. Help me in same. Thanks in advance.

listen I am having\encountering EXTREME DIFFICULTY in starting to use the sqlplus from Oracle Express Edition 11g on the comand line. it WON'T take the password that I had just set a second ago! The username is always sys or system but what password does it want?

If anyone one else gets the error "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified" on trying to login - then it is most likely because you have an "@" symbol in you password! Just wasted 1.5 hours of my life ;P
